(More customer reviews)I really like my Siplicity Bias Tape Machine, but the 2 1/2 " quilt binding tip is a waste of money. I had expected that it was going to make 2 1/2 " bias tape for quilt borders, but it does not. All it does is to take a 2 1/2 " strip, and fold it in half. It is difficult to load the fabric into the tip, so just folding the strip in half and using a standard iron would be way easier. Do not waste your money on this tip. If you are thinking about buying a Bias Tape Machine with the idea of using it for 2 1/2 " borders, you will be disappointed.
