Following other reviews I ordered a bigger one than I needed, and it did indeed shrink when I washed it, so it fits the table perfectly now. Washed on cold and dried on low heat. If I get another one which I might do in a different color, I will probably do the same. Better it be a tad too long, that too short! No ironing either!
