(More customer reviews)I prefer flour sack dish towels because they do not leave lint on my dishes and glassware. Flour sack dish towels also tend to dry faster after use than other types of fabric.These are reminiscent of the ones my grandmothers embroidered . Seems we always had flour sack dish towels with days of the week in our house.
I only gave 4 stars due to the smaller size. I would have liked them better if they were a bit larger and a bit heavier.
They do look cute hanging on my Home Essentials Over The Cabinet Towel Bar along with my DII Country Essentials Heavyweight Dishcloth, Set of 8. (But cuteness doesn't get the job done-see update below).
These are identical to DII Vintage X-Stitch Embroidered Days-of-Week Floursack Dishtowel, Set of 7 except the price is lower and no picture is available currently. Could be just a glitch.
UPDATE: DEMOTING THESE TO 3 STARS DUE TO SMALL SIZE AND THINNESS OF FABRIC.
Think I will stick with getting my plain white flour sack dish towels from Lehman's. Their's are heavier, larger and more durable and it only takes one to dry dishes after a meal instead of the two these require.
