Janome Needle Unit w/Presser Foot for Felting Review

(More customer reviews)I own and enjoy the Singer ER-10 Embellisher Singer Felting and Embellishing Machine.
After a little research I learned that the needles for the Janome FM725 and some other attachments would fit the Singer. Let's face it, needles for either machine are REALLY expensive at just under $4 each.
Needles will wear down and will need replacing. You can order 10 needles at $39 or you can order this kit with an extra needle unit (with 5 needles loaded and ready to insert in the ER-10) and it comes with 5 extra needles... for $39.
Hmm... well, I can't imagine that anything would happen to the original ER-10 Needle holder but hey, it's virtually free.
Unfortunately, the presser foot does NOT fit the ER-10 but it really didn't cost me anything.

(More customer reviews)This is a crafting tool, not a sewing machine, but if you like to needle felt, rug hook, crochet, etc. or other things that give you a lot of "fiber" materials in your crafting closet, this thing is marvy! You can take a piece of felt, burlap, muslin, and make tapestries and wall hangings with yarn, roving, bits and pieces of ribbon, etc. in half the time it would take to do it by hand. Although it will "join" materials together, it is not like an applique process where the pieces could potentillialy withstand a machine washing, so for garments you will probably need additional hand-sewing on elaborate creations. But -- it's fun and has "no rules" for use.
