(More customer reviews)functional? yes.. VERY basic.. easy to use.. not great quality.. (then again it is cheap.. seems flimsy.. tension keeps messing up.. Ive had it for 2 weeks.. 2 blankets and a dress later I am DEF saving for a better machine. This can get you by but if you have a hobby of sewing this isnt for you.

The LSS-505 from Michley is a multi-purpose sewing machine that features double thread, double speed, 8 built-in stitch patterns, forward and reverse sewing and automatic thread rewind. Sews sleeves and had a built-in sewing light. Use hand switch or foot pedal to start. Drawer, thread cutter, foot pedal, adaptor, and thread bag included. Uses DC 6V power. This combo kit also includes Electrical Scissors and a 42-piece sewing kit. The sewing kit contains the following: 16 large thread rolls, 16 small thread rolls, 5 extra needles, 1 measuring tape, 1 pair of scissors, 1 thimble, 1 threader (helps put the thread in the needle) and 1 big needle.
